This complete kitchen makeover is our first foray into the marvelous kitchen world. This Laval couple wished to redo their old kitchen to make it brighter and more practical. We completely demolished the existing kitchen et brought it back to basis. We redesigned the electrical plan to insure dedicated outlets for the existing appliances, added outlets above the countertop but above all, integrated proper LED lighting to the ceiling and underneath top cabinets to make this room brighter. The whole kitchen was repainted a soft white and we also kept the existing terracotta flooring for budget consideration. By maximizing the available space up to the ceiling, we have been able to multiply by four the total of cabinets including a unit to store large plates, trays, etc., three pantries with sliding drawers, a cabinet with integrated garbage bin and two corner cabinets with Lazy Suzan. Finally, a ceramic backsplash runs above all countertops including the lunch corner under the window.
